This course, Research in Team Dynamics, has helped me in many ways. The first of which is it helped beat into my head my shortcomings, particularly my lack of the technical knowledge, such as with Unity, in the game making process. With this experience I now know that I need to get my act together and really work on expanding my repertoire of skills so that I may better help my team create our game. The second thing I learned from the assignments in Research in Team Dynamics, is where I want to focus my career path on. I learned I really want to make Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Games (MMORPGs). I am really dissatisfied with the current market, especially the direction greedy companies such as Activision-Blizzard, Electronic Arts, and Bethesda are taking their products, games and game franchises that have been beloved by myself and the gaming community as a hole for years if not decades. I really want to make a difference with my career and hopefully one day be a part of a team that makes an amazing game. I know that the skills and research methods I learned in this class will help me prepare for such an ambitious endeavor.
